From the moment the ball was bowled-in, the game was on, Work To Ride anxious to eliminate Airstream’s two point advantage due to handicap. Mariano Gonzalez expertly made the first penalty conversion, followed by a goal from Marcos Garcia Del Rio. Fighting for possession of the ball, Work To Ride’s aggressive tactics caused the penalties to stack up quickly as the two teams traded goals back and forth, ending the first chukker 4-3 with Airstream maintaining the lead. Tommy Biddle returned to the field, putting a goal and a penalty 2 conversion on the board before Work To Ride fired back with two goals of their own. Still down by a point entering the third chukker, the Mariano duo battled to successfully add two more goals to their tally and Tommy Biddle answered the challenge with a single penalty conversion, going into the half with a tied score.

As the penalties once again rained down on Airstream, they met the opposition with a strong defense, with not one ball making it through their goal posts in the fourth. However, Work To Ride made up for their fruitless chukker in the fifth, attacking the field with quick wit to score three consecutive goals and move into the lead for the first time. The final goal of the chukker, made by Gonzalez was a penalty 3 conversion. As the final period arrived, Chris Brant tied up the game once again with the first and only goal for Airstream. Gonzalez, the player who scored the most goals throughout the game, would make his sixth and final goal, a penalty 2 conversion, to end the sixth chukker 11-10.
