Buenos Aires – Sept. 22, 2019 – In front of a large crowd, the Grand Final of the 55th Jockey Club Open Ford Cup, was held on Saturday, September 21 on Argentina’s Field 1, a game that this time included 8 teams between 27 and 31 goals.

But LD Valiente recovered and managed to draw at 9 to reach the last chukker with the score even. In the decisive period, Facundo Pieres again scored.
After a brief speech by the president of the Jockey Club, Mr. Miguel Crotto Sojo, the award ceremony began, with the participation of the president of the AAP, Eduardo Novillo Astrada; Ford Advertising Manager, Tomás Grignaschi; and the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Tte. Grl. Claudio Pasqualini, among other authorities.
After the delivery of the replicas for the champions and finalists, the mare Irenita Entenada, played by Pablo Mac Donough, was awarded by the Jockey Club, being chosen the best of the final.
