La Dolfina and Ellerstina Advance to Finals of Hurlingham Open

La Dolfina Sancor Seguros, the only candidate of the Triple Crown of the AAP 2018 and recent champion of the Tortugas Open, qualified on Sunday, Oct. 28, as the second finalist of the 125th RUS Polo Open of the Hurlingham Club, co-organized by the AAP and the Hurlingham Club, one of the most important entities of our polo.

La Dolfina (4-0) was awarded the Zone B of the tournament after overcoming, in unbeaten team, Las Monjitas (3-1) 11-8, in a match in which the Cañuelas took advantage quickly and did not give the Oranges a chance to recover. Pablo Mac Donough, scorer of 5 points; and Adolfo Cambiaso, in his role as assistant, were vital for La Dolfina to return to the final of Hurlingham after a 2017 in which he did not succeed. Now, it will look to cut the streak of two consecutive titles to Ellerstina Johor, who will face on Saturday, Nov. 3, in the grand final of the tournament.

At the end of the match, Cambiaso was distinguished by FlyBondi as the player who had the most flight in the game, for which he won two round trip tickets to Punta del Este, Uruguay. Congratulations!
